Commercial Lenders Who Care
The commercial lender team at PCB are very involved throughout the community.
Lisa Ohler, SVP, Chief Lending Officer, currently serves as a Board Member on the AMHA Building for Tomorrow board. She is an active member of the Western Reserve Community fund loan committee, member of Leadership Akron Class 40, and a member of the Cuyahoga Falls and Great Akron Chamber of Commerce. Lisa has previously served as a board member and Past President of the Downtown Cuyahoga Falls Partnership and has volunteered on the Board of Trustees for the Summit County CASA program, The Welcoming Workforce Coalition, CREW of Greater Akron and the American Heart Association.
Sara McCarty is a Vice President who currently serves as Chair of the Ohio Bankers League (OBL) NextGen Advisory Board and is a graduate of the OBL Leadership Institute. She is also a past graduate of Leadership Portage County. In addition to her involvement with OBL, Sara is an active member of Alloy Commercial Capital’s Project Review Committee for Ohio, Kentucky, and the Southeast region. She was recognized in early 2024 as Alloy’s Banking Advocate of the Year. Sara also serves on the City of Kent, Ohio Revolving Loan Fund Board, where she helps support economic development and strengthen the communities served by PCB.
Tim Naftzger, Vice President brings more than 25 years of banking experience to Portage Community Bank. Tim is known for his responsiveness, believing that returning calls promptly and truly listening to clients are essential to building lasting relationships. He enjoys helping customers navigate complex financing needs and takes pride in finding practical solutions that help businesses succeed. Tim is a board member of Townhall II and serves as their treasurer, a graduate of Leadership Portage County Class of 2022, and is active with the Kent Rotary Club.
Scott Lawrence, Commercial Lender, is known for his proactive, hands-on approach, Scott focuses on building strong client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor throughout every stage of the lending process. He works closely with business owners to understand their goals, identify opportunities early, and structure solutions that support both immediate needs and long-term success. He has been recognized for his leadership and community involvement, including being named to Stark County’s Twenty Under 40 and completing the Leadership Stark County Signature Program.
